Defibox Foundation Launches DIP14 Officially – Defibox

Hello! Under the suggestion of community users, the Defibox Foundation initiated DIP14 officially. The voting time is from 10:00 (UTC) October 7, 2020 to 10:00 (UTC) October 10, 2020. The specific information is as follows:

Governance proposal content:

BOX staking reward is changed from getting EOS to getting BOX;
Buy back BOX with 0.1% of Swap transaction volume every hour, and it is used for BOX staking reward. This feature will be launched within one week after the voting ends;
USN interest and liquidation penalty will also 100% be used to BOX buy-back and be rewarded to BOX staking users. This feature will be developed and launched within this month after passing security audit;
Decentralized lending fee revenue will 100% be used to BOX buy-back and be rewarded to BOX staking users.

Execution conditions:

The total votes of the proposal must account for ≥ 30% of the total BOX staking amount; (abbreviation: proposal participation)
The votes for an option must ≥ 55.00% of the total votes of the proposal;
The Foundation will start execution after the vote is successful;
Proposals that do not meet the execution conditions after the voting ends will be cancelled.

Execution plan:

If an option satisfies the execution conditions, it means that the vote is successful. The Defibox Foundation will adjust the staking BOX reward according to the option. For the specific adjustment time and more information, please follow the follow-up official announcement.

Voting time description:

After the governance proposal is officially announced, it is not allowed to vote during the publicity period;
Voting will be open after the publicity period ends. Please vote within the valid time.
